Obituary

Margaret S. "Peggy" Frycler (nee Durrwachter) passed away on October 11, 2021 at the age 93. Beloved wife of the late Henry J. Frycler; loving mother of Theresa Knott, Lucille Macrina (Anthony), Cecilia Frycler and the late Regina Friel; cherished grandmother of Christine Bucci (Mike), Jennifer Rokuskie (Walter), Matthew Macrina and great-grandmother of Austin Rokuskie, Andrew Rokuskie and Michael Bucci; dear sister of Ed Durrwachter, Ron Durrwachter and the late Marie Wissig and George Durrwachter.

Mom was born and raised in Philly in 1928 just at the time of the great depression. She grew up in the era of the partyline phone and was a teenager during WWII. She met our Dad, Henry and together they had 4 lovely girls. There were a lot of firsts in her lifetime – the first TV, the first moon walk just to name a few. Mom had amazing craft skills – needlepoint, knitting, crocheting, sewing. We had several Mother/Daughter(s) dresses and poodle skirts. But the most significant and life changing event in our Mom's life was when she received Jesus Christ as her Saviour and Lord in the 1970's. She got involved with the Women's Ministry at Calvary Chapel and was a chaplain with Samaritan's Purse. One of her trips was to New Orleans after Katrina. Mom would listen, share, talk to and pray with anyone. She loved Jesus and was loved by all who knew her.

Relatives and friends are invited to Margaret's Life Celebration on Monday, October 18th, beginning at 10:15 a.m. at Calvary Chapel of Philadelphia, 13500 Philmont Ave., Phila., followed by her Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Lawnview Cemetery.
