Tribute & Message From The Family

Loving husband, father and grandfather

David L Warren, 63 of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully October 1, 2021 at Fox Chase Hospital after a long courageous battle with esophageal cancer.
David (Dave) was born October 28, 1957 to Stretch and Marge Warren and was a lifetime resident of Northeast Philadelphia.
On March 17, 1978 he married his wife and best friend Diane Fuscellaro and together they had three children.
Dave was a kind person that everyone loved. He was there to help whenever anyone needed him. He was a hardworking man who worked 46 years in the construction and telecommunications industry with his last job being with Bluestone Communications. He loved fishing, playing cards and was an avid Philadelphia sports fan with his favorite team being the Philadelphia Flyers. He loved home projects and had a tool to fix anything when needed. Although there were many things Dave loved in this life, his greatest passion was always his family, whom he put before anything.
He is survived by his wife Diane and his children Jennifer (Matt), Jamie and DJ; his two grandsons, Aiden and Cameron along with many additional family members and friends.
The family asks in lieu of flowers that you please make a donation to:
The Fox Chase Cancer Center
Office of Institutional Advancement
333 Cottman Avenue
Philadelphia, PA 19111.
His family was initially told Dave only had a few months when he was diagnosed and this wonderful team gave them several more years to create memories with him that they will always cherish.

Condolence & Memory Journal

My condolences to Diane and family. I'll never forget how we first met in 1971. You Butch and Charlie attacked me and Franny with snowballs. For years after that we became inseparable. I can say without conviction that you were a man of character, integrity, compassion and a very loving father and man. I will miss you Earl.
